1. Registration:
1. Registration opens on February 1st.
2. We will be accepting 60 cars. Entrance fees will be deposited upon receipt and non-refundable. A standby list will be created as people do cancel.
3. Cost of Registration is $150. Registrations will be taken on a first come first serve basis. You must submit your registration form and ENTRANCE FEE in full to reserve your spot and car number. If paying by check or money order, please make it out to:

"The American Dream Foundation"

4. With registration you will be receiving the following:
1. 2 Arena passes and 1 pit pass. Extra Pt passes will be available at $15 each. NO pit passes will be issued after 4:00 P.M.!
2. 2 general admission tickets.
3. Driver Gift.
4. DVD of the event.

2. Payouts:      $20,000 Total prize money
   1. Main event

   First           $5000      Trophy                   Fourth    $500        Trophy

   Third          $1000      Trophy  

   2. Heats:
      1. Top TWO will receive $1000 each, and Trophy
      2. Third place from the heats will receive free entrance to the $10,000 Salt Lake County Fair Saturday Derby
      3. Most agressive from each heat will receive $250
   3. Trophies for best paint for top two cars
   4. Gurdge match pays $150 for each qualifier

3. Qualifiers:

1. Top Three cars from each heat.
2. Top Two cars from each of the grudge match(s).
3. Possible 16 for the Main.
   
   
4. General:
1. General Rules apply.
2. All cars must be completly built upon arrival, as you will be staged for your heats prior to the start of the derby.
   PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CAR IS COMPLETE BEFORE GETTING INSPECTED.
3. Upon approved inspection you will receive your flag and draw your heat and stage your car.
4. Inspections will be Friday from 9am until 4 pm.
1. You must be in the inspection line no later than 3 pm, if not. If you arrive after 4 pm you may be assessed a $50 late fee or not allowed to run pending time and head officials call. DO NOT BE LATE!
2. Heats will be drawn and cars staged at this time. Staged cars will be secured. You may hook up a battery charger or remove the battery once staged and reinstall after 5pm. You may cover your car if you wish.
5. Access to cars will be allowed after 4:30 pm.
6. Drivers meeting will be at 6:30 pm.
7. EVENT START TIME IS 6:00 PM.

TRUCK HEAT: One Heat only

We are going to have one heat truck derby. If we do not get the required trucks, we will cancel this heat and move the prize money into the most aggressive driver prize money.

1. Entrance fee is $50, you will receive two pit passes and two general admission passes.
2. Payouts, 1st place is $650, 2nd place is $250 and 3rd place is $100.
3. See 2008 rules for truck building.
4. We will need a minimum of 8 trucks to have the heat.
5. A possible points system will be in place for a Truck championship to be held in September.
